Functional medicine is a root-cause, systems-based approach to health. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we look at how your genetics, nutrition, environment, lifestyle, sleep, stress, and relationships work together to create how you feel today.
It's the kind of unhurried, whole-person care that asks why β not just what.

Think of it as a deep dive into you β your body, your history, your patterns, your goals. This isn't a quick fix and it isn't a pop-a-pill situation. Functional medicine takes time, and real results require patience and partnership.
You are the expert on you. I bring the clinical expertise. Together we figure out what your body has been trying to tell you β and build realistic, sustainable solutions that actually work for your life.
If you're ready to invest in yourself and get to the root of what's going on, I'd love to take that journey with you.

I work alongside your primary care provider, not in place of them. While they keep watch over your routine medical care, I focus on the questions that take real time to answer: Why am I still tired? Why am I gaining weight when nothing's changed? Why are my labs "normal" when I feel anything but? Why doesn't anyone have time to actually listen?
You've probably been to plenty of appointments where you walked away with more questions than answers.
That's not your fault β it's how the system is built.

Yes. I see children ages 2 and up. Pediatric functional medicine is one of my favorite areas to work in, and it's something most functional medicine practices don't offer.
From gut concerns to recurring illness, eczema, picky eating, behavioral changes, or just laying healthier foundations β children deserve root-cause care too.

Insurance billing comes with rules β 15-minute visits, limited testing, and a third party in the middle of your care. Direct pay changes that. It gives me the freedom to spend the time you actually need, order the tests that make sense for you, and keep our relationship exactly where it belongs β between us.
And if you'd like to seek reimbursement, we can always provide an itemized superbill to submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network benefits.
-
Both are separate from your visit fee. Lab testing is targeted to your story β standard bloodwork, stool analysis (GI-MAP), hormone testing (DUTCH), organic acids, buccal swabs, and genetic testing. Specialty labs are billed directly by the lab and typically range $200β$500 each.
For supplements, I offer access to a curated online dispensary of professional-grade products at patient pricing β though you're always free to purchase from any source.

I serve patients throughout the greater Cleveland west side. If you're unsure whether you're in my service area, just reach out β we'll figure it out together.
